Your 2024 External Division
Director of Family Relations: Ashley Higgins
First up, the Director of Family Relations, Ashley Higgins! Ashley is a junior and this will be her third year in Jagathon! Last year, she was the 2023 Director of Traditions and in 2022 she was the Fundraising Chair for Family Relations. Ashley’s role is to connect Jagathon to our main cause and the families we impact at Riley Hospital!

- Major: Health Science on a Pre-Med Track
- Fun Fact: Ashley has a golden doodle named Molly!
- Favorite Jagathon Memory: Planning and taking part in Battleships last year!
- Why does Ashley dance?: She dances for all Riley kiddos and their families! She wants to make an impact on their lives like what was made for her when she was a Riley Kid!
Director of Creative Design: Madison Poer
Next up, the Director of Creative Design, Madison Poer! Madison is a sophomore, and this is her second year in Jagathon. She began her involvement with Jagathon last year as the Stewardship Chair on the Corporate Partnerships Committee. This year, her role consists of creating graphics and designs for Jagathon’s social media accounts!

- Major: Biology
- Fun Fact: Madison plays golf and has an obsession with Dr. Pepper
- Favorite Jagathon Memory: Madison’s favorite Jagathon memory was taking part in Battleships in the fall of 2022.
- Why Does Madison Dance?: She dances for all the kids who didn’t make it and those who can’t dance anymore.
Director of Marketing: Dulce Mendez
Next up, the Director of Marketing, Dulce Mendez! Dulce is a sophomore, and this will be her second year in Jagathon. She was previously a Prospecting Chair for Corporate Partnerships. Her role oversees the handling of posting important information, events, and updates on Jagathon’s social media accounts.

- Major: Health Science
- Fun Fact: Before moving to Indiana, Dulce lived in Los Angeles, California for 16 years.
- Favorite Jagathon Memory: Her favorite Jagathon memory was performing with The Moving Company at IUPUI during the main event.
- Why does Dulce dance?: She dances so that more children can have the opportunities to follow their dreams.
Director of Public Relations: Johana Salinas
Up Next, the Director of Public Relations, Johana Salinas. Johana is a senior and this is her first year in Jagathon. Johana’s role is in charge of creating blog posts and handing the Jagathon Blog site. Her role also consists of making fun styled interview videos of our members and Riley kiddos.

- Major: Marketing and Co-Major: International Studies
- Fun Fact: Johana is the biggest bookworm you’ll ever meet!
- Favorite Jagathon Memory: Her favorite Jagathon memory is holding one of the number signs when revealing the total raised for 2023 Jagathon’s Child Health Day.
- Why does Johana dance?: She dances for all Riley kiddos who are not able to dance.
Director of Guest Relations: Lauren Fancher
Our last External Relations Director is the Director of Guest Relations, Lauren Fancher. Lauren is a junior and this will be her third year in Jagathon! She was previously an Event Chair for the Family Relations Committee and the Co-Director of Event Programming. Now as the Director of Guest Relations, her role is to invite VIPs to Jagathon and create and share Jagathon’s press kit for the year to local news and radio stations.

- Fun Fact: Lauren can do the splits!
- Favorite Jagathon Memory: Her first Run 2 Riley during Jagathon 2022
- Why does Lauren dance?: She dances so that the children at Riley know that they are not fighting alone.
