Students Helping Students

What is Students Helping Students?

Students Helping Students is at the philanthropic heart of the IU Indianapolis Student Foundation. Created to nurture a culture of student philanthropy at Indiana University, this initiative comes alive during the fall semester through a dynamic, peer-to-peer fundraising campaign.

We believe in empowering IU Indianapolis students to make a meaningful impact now, emphasizing that generosity knows no waiting period. Each year, the campaign raises funds for a student-selected cause that is dedicated to directly assisting students on the Indianapolis campus.

Prioritizing mental health

For the 2024 Students Helping Students campaign, we’re proud to announce our partnership with the Office of the Chief Health Officer (OCHO). Together, we’re on a mission to destigmatize mental health care on the IU Indianapolis campus. We’re excited to channel our collective efforts toward creating a campus environment that fosters understanding, support, and open dialogue about mental well-being.
