Educational programs

Providing educational opportunities is important for promoting a healthy and inclusive environment within our sorority and fraternity community. Our staff is dedicated to creating programs that focus on leadership development and promoting positive behavior. We make sure that all educational initiatives align with our standards of excellence and help our members achieve core membership outcomes.

The purpose is to provide community building, professional, and personal skill development for our Fraternity and Sorority Life leaders to use throughout their collegiate experience. Hosted twice a year (fall/spring).

To provide a space for potential new members/interests to connect with our 24 organizations, learn how to become a member, and find a sense of belonging in the community. Hosted twice a year (fall/spring) during Weeks of Welcome.

Information Nights are hosted by each governing council (CPH, IFC, MCGC, NPHC) and provide prospective members with an opportunity to learn about the fraternities and sororities within that council. These sessions cover topics such as recruitment or intake processes, membership expectations, council values, and opportunities for involvement.

By attending, students can ask questions, connect with current members, and gain the information needed to make informed decisions about joining Fraternity and Sorority Life.

New Member Academy is a council-led educational experience designed to support and engage new members as they begin their fraternity or sorority journey. Each governing council (CPH, IFC, MCGC, NPHC) hosts its own program, tailored to reflect the values, traditions, and expectations of its member organizations.

Through interactive sessions, new members gain a deeper understanding of leadership, academic success, campus involvement, community standards, and the unique opportunities available within their respective councils and the broader fraternity and sorority community.
